Harvesting green tea leaves is done painstakingly manually in spring, only selecting the best leaves. They are subjected to a steam bath and the leaves are separated from the stems and then the deveined leaf is ground. This traditional process maximizes the flavor and preserves the vibrant green color that characterizes this matcha.
Ideal to drink with water or oatmeal, almond, soy, rice or cow milk.
Preparation method:
1. Add 1g of matcha tea to a cup.
2. Pour 60 ml of water at 80ºC.
3. Shake the matcha with a bamboo or electric whisk until dissolved and frothy.
4. Add 190 ml of water for a traditional matcha tea or 190 ml of milk for a matcha latte. Sweeten to taste.
