Citric acid is a naturally occurring organic acid found in many fruits and vegetables, especially citrus fruits.
In house cleaning it is used in solution with water.
It is a very versatile product that can be used as a dishwasher rinse, laundry softener, surface descaler, plunger and natural preservative.

Brightener, limescale and natural preservative:
- Dishwasher rinse aid (1 dose): Pour 15 grams of citric acid in a measuring glass, add 100 ml of water and mix. Put the solution in the rinse aid compartment.
- Laundry softener (1 dose): Add 10 grams of citric acid to 100 ml of water, mix and put the solution in the softener compartment.
- Surface descaler: Add 150 grams to 1 liter of water, mix and put on a soft cloth or spray to remove limestone from taps, showers and sinks.
- Anti-scale washing machine and kettle: Mix 150 grams in 1 liter of water, with the solution, do 1 washing in a vacuum washing machine. To remove limestone in the kettle, pour 250 ml of water, 1 teaspoon of Citric Acid and leave the solution overnight.
- Plunger: pour 1/2 glass of citric acid into the drain followed by 1/2 glass of baking soda and 1 liter of hot water.
- Natural preservative: Dissolve 2 teaspoons each liter of household detergent.
