SO'BiO étic® isn’t satisfied with just being certified organic, it affirms its ethical commitment on every level:
ETHICS
We manufacture our products in France and source plants from French biodiversity or through ethical trade.
We select our raw materials suppliers using an ethical approach, and where possible give precedence to local producers and cooperatives.
For example, the Anjou rose used in the SO'BiO étic® Rose range comes from a Red Cross centre providing work for the disabled.
For ingredients originating from other continents, preference is always given to ethical trade.
Free from parabens, nanoparticles, phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, colourings, GMOs, synthetic perfume, ethoxylated products, PEGs, silicon and paraffin. Free from animal ingredients. Not tested on animals. Recyclable packaging. Tolerance and effectiveness tests are systematically carried out on all formulae. Tests to check freedom from pesticides are carried out randomly on our formulae. Cosmetovigilance: we will carry out a dermatological test free of charge in the event of any reaction. We refuse to use harmful or non-biodegradable materials, or ingredients obtained through heavy chemical processes. Obviously, we do not use parabens, nanoparticles or silicon. We go beyond Ecocert standards and always opt for a maximum amount of ingredients derived from organic farming. We have set up a strict raw materials approval process that ensures traceability.
